The reduction gear developed exclusively for water jet of large capacity, shall consist of four types; RGC-K type of vertical offset arrangement of input/output shaft with a forwarding clutch incorporated, RGN-K type of vertical offset arrangement of input/output shaft with a forwarding clutch and a reversing one installed, RGC-H type of horizontal offset arrangement of input/output shaft with a forwarding clutch incorporated, and planet gear type (METR) of in-line arrangement of input/output shaft with a forwarding clutch installed.

Features

• The power-takeoff for steering pump is fitted as standard.
• Light weight and compact design thanks to adoption of aluminum casing and simplified component parts.
• Apart from a main lubricating oil pump, a small trailing pump to be driven by the output shaft is installed so that revolution parts of reduction gears on trailing side may be lubricated in case of navigation by the gear at one side.
• For the type with reversing mechanism and reversing clutch fitted, cleaning and maintenance of suction opening for water jet shall become easier.
