In support of the aims of this campaign, which is run by the Ministry of the Environment as a measure against global warming, we turn out the lights in our factories and promote energy saving between 20:00 and 22:00 on July 7th every year.
In November 2009, we joined this communication project by Saitama City, announcing ecological activities and local cleanup work by our staff and other environmental efforts by our company.
It was an opportunity to foster mutual communication with the public and the administrative authorities.
We run a cleaning program dubbed “Good Morning Cleanup” at our Omiya and Kamo plants as a way of beautifying our business premises and expressing our gratitude to the communities around them.
All the staff at each plant participate in this activity on the first morning of each month, and the program will continue.
We work to support the Saitama City “Gomi (Garbage) Zero Campaign” on May 30th every year.
We work in support of the “Kamoyama Park Group Cleanup”, a hometown conservation project in Kamo City, Niigata prefecture, every April.
